Mr. Aad is the Director Global Partnerships for MEA region at Sigfox which is a Global IoT network provider based on Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) Technology.

Prior to joining Sigfox, Mr. Aad served as Director of product development for M2M/IoT at Etisalat Group, where he was in charge of developing M2M/IoT strategies across the group footprint which spans across 19 countries in Africa, the Middle East and Asia.

Mr. Aad has an extensive experience in the telecommunication filed and holds master’s degrees in Management of New Technologies and Telecom Strategies.

Bassam Alkassar

Graduated in 1988 from the University of Missouri in Computer Science, Mr. Bassam AlKassar started his career in 1990 with the Star Project for Boeing.
For 10 years in the Silicon Valley, Mr. AlKassar has participated in the migration of the proprietary network of AT&T, Bell South, NCR, Chrysler, GM, Ford, Boeing, Lockheed Martin and others to an Open Architecture Network (TCP/IP), the predecessor of the Internet we know today. Driven by his passion to IT he got involved in the advancement of the PC Internet Technology.

Dominique’s background comprises a wealth of telecommunication and mobile device applications experience. He previously worked for Orange and BT in Belgium and held a variety of positions at consumer/industrial technology companies, assuming roles in product management and market research and intelligence. He later started his own company in software consulting for mobile devices, where he acquired extensive experience in mobile satellite navigation software.
