With over 35 years of commercial and technical experience in the ICT and Telecom industry, Zaim is recognized as an industry leader in developing and providing next-generation technologies. During his previous tenures in multinational technology vendors, Zaim played a pivotal role in anchoring international brands in emerging markets, mainly in the MENA region. Today, Zaim focuses on the development and diversification of Telematics solutions and M2M services at Location Solutions and he is closely engaged in the regional expansion of the company.


Mohamed Bebars

Project Manager, Drivers Licensing Department, RTA

Mohamed Bebars is a talented Project Manager known among his colleagues as a highly creative young leader who can always be trusted to come up with a new approach and innovative Ideas that nominated him to be a member of RTA Self Driving Transport Scientific Team and licensing innovation team. He worked and delivered some of the most important and sensitive projects related to government services in RTA, such as the Vehicle Safety Service, which created unique Telematics module targeting heavy commercial vehicles to enhance road safety in Dubai and many other projects, which is under a part of Dubai Smart City Strategy. He is also working on new projects that is marked as first of its kind in the region to utilize the latest technologies such as Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence to improve drivers training and examination services and enhance drivers behaviors and Roads Safety in Dubai.




Dominique Bonte

Vice President, Verticals/End Markets, ABI Research

Dominique Bonte is responsible for ABI Research's global automo tive coverage including telematics, connected car, infotainment, navigation, location technologies and services, ADAS, V2X and cooperative systems, cyber security, autonomous vehicles and driverless cars, Usage Based Insurance, smart mobility, Intelligent Transportation Systems, smart cities, fleet management, asset tracking and IoE/IoT. Dominique’s background comprises a wealth of telecommunication and mobile device applications experience. He previously worked for Orange and BT in Belgium and held a variety of positions at consumer/industrial technology companies, assuming roles in product management and market research and intelligence. He later started his own company in software consulting for mobile devices, where he acquired extensive experience in mobile satellite navigation software. He holds an MS in electronics engineering at the University of Leuven, and has earned several marketing and business degrees.

Dr. Jörg Monschau

Senior Consultant, Mercedes-Benz Consulting

Jörg has been working as a market researcher and consultant for more than 18 years and has vast experience in acquiring and managing multi-stage international and multinational projects. Before joining Mercedes-Benz Consulting in 2016, Jörg was CEO of an Automobile Market Research and Consultancy Institute in Germany. His field of expertise comprises the development of qualitative market research methods and the conceptual design and moderation of workshops, seminars and lectures on qualitative market research with a special focus on customer insights and trend research.

In addition, Jörg regularly gives lectures on trends and future topics at events of renowned companies. Last year, Jörg lectured Customer Experience Management at the University of Pforzheim

Jörg holds a PhD in English and Spanish literature and linguistics. He studied at Ruprecht-Karls-University Heidelberg and University College Galway / Ireland.


Stefan Schnitzler

Management Consultant, Mercedes-Benz

Stefan was for a decade as a managing director in charge of a global personal and organizational development consultancy. His various projects and global key account responsibility led him to the commercial vehicle sector. After many years being on project assignments across the Middle East Stefan joined from 2014 to 2016 with a business development assignment a German heavy commercial vehicle manufacturer in Dubai. In his tenure he was also an in-house benefit realization consultant for a telematics solution. In autumn 2016 he moved back to Europe and now heads the consulting unit Wholesale Consulting at Mercedes-Benz Consulting. In this capacity he supports and consults mainly general distributors in business development topics – in the passenger car as well as in the commercial vehicles sector. Besides this he volunteers as a chairman for an audition board at a local chamber of trade and industry in Germany and was a proud volunteer for INJAZ a youth-centered non-profit organization headquartered in Dubai for the UAE. Here he taught school and university students how to become an entrepreneur.


Alexander Smirnov

Business Development Director Middle East, Gurtam

Alexander Smirnov is the Business Development Director at Gurtam, the global provider of GPS tracking solutions with 15 years of experience in vehicle telematics. Alexander works in Dubai office catering for the interests of the growing Middle Eastern Wialon community. With expert knowledge of GPS tracking and fleet management that comes from his experience as a Wialon trainer at Gurtam, he is leading the company to join the top projects in telematics and smart initiatives. His team builds strong partner relations with the clients and supports them in implementation of complex projects. He is also responsible for handling the most important industry events in the region.


Jens Strohschneider

Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, Omnicomm

Jens is a telecommunication, business development and sales leader with a long track record of software and technology projects in Russia successfully launched to the international marketplaces. 

Over the last ten years, his focus has been on the development of new telecommunications and telematics services beyond voice, in particular Internet Multimedia Services (IMS), Location Based Services (LBS), mobile Value Added Services (mVAS), and the Internet of Things (IoT) in close cooperation with global telecommunications operators, service providers, and manufactures.

Jens started his career as a telecommunication engineer with Deutsche Telekom, and received a MA degree in Eastern European Studies and International Relations from the University of Konstanz, Germany in 2001.


Jakub Turan

Sales and Business Development for MEA, Sygic Enterprise Solutions

Jakub, heading Sygic’s business development in the Middle East and Africa, is on a mission to engage clients from the region and help to enhance their telematics solutions. Trained in Marketing and Sales at Vlerick Business School in Ghent, Jakub collected project management and business development experience across Europe. Having worked for UBS Switzerland, largest global Wealth Manager, Jakub always strives for client focus, precision, and top of the class delivery. Jakub is a strong believer of connected technologies and is always on a look how to bring a disruptive innovation into telematics industry.
