Mohamed Hamed Aly Bebars

Project Manager, RTA

Mohamed Bebars is a talented Project Manager known among his colleagues as a highly creative young leader who can always be trusted to come up with a new approach and innovative Ideas that nominated him to be a member of RTA Self Driving Transport Scientific Team and licensing innovation team. He worked and delivered some of the most important and sensitive projects related to government services in RTA, such as the Vehicle Safety Service, which created unique Telematics module targeting heavy commercial vehicles to enhance road safety in Dubai and many other projects, which is under a part of Dubai Smart City Strategy. He is also working on new projects that is marked as first of its kind in the region to utilize the latest technologies such as Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence to improve drivers training and examination services and enhance drivers behaviors and Roads Safety in Dubai.

Dominique Bonte

Vice President, Verticals/End Markets, ABI Research

Dominique Bonte is responsible for ABI Research's global automotive coverage including telematics, connected car, infotainment, navigation, location technologies and services, ADAS, V2X and cooperative systems, cyber security, autonomous vehicles and driverless cars, Usage Based Insurance, smart mobility, Intelligent Transportation Systems, smart cities, fleet management, asset tracking and IoE/IoT.

Dominique’s background comprises a wealth of telecommunication and mobile device applications experience. He previously worked for Orange and BT in Belgium and held a variety of positions at consumer/industrial technology companies, assuming roles in product management and market research and intelligence. He later started his own company in software consulting for mobile devices, where he acquired extensive experience in mobile satellite navigation software.

He holds an MS in electronics engineering at the University of Leuven, and has earned several marketing and business degrees.

Brent Melvin, COO for Almajdouie Logistics is an industry veteran with over 25 years of transport and logistics experience in various market sectors. Brent is responsible for new market and product development and innovation, including technology for use within the logistics business, with specific view to visibility tools at vehicle and product level.

 

Brent has years of experience working with telematics systems starting back in 1999 based on track and trace for security purposes, using a range of telematics for a various purposes, from behavior to temperature management and exception reporting.

Stefan Schnitzler

Management Consultant, Mercedes-Benz Consulting

Stefan was for a decade as a managing director in charge of a global personal and organizational development consultancy. His various projects and global key account responsibility led him to the commercial vehicle sector. After many years being on project assignments across the Middle East Stefan joined from 2014 to 2016 with a business development assignment a German heavy commercial vehicle manufacturer in Dubai. In his tenure he was also an in-house benefit realization consultant for a telematics solution. In autumn last year he moved back to Europe and now heads a consulting unit at Mercedes-Benz Consulting. Besides this he volunteers as a chairman for an audition board at a local chamber of trade and industry in Germany and was a proud volunteer for INJAZ a youth-centered non-profit organization headquartered in Dubai for the UAE.
